Alexis Stern, Administrative Coordinator, joined the Center for Home Care Policy and Research in August, 1999. She was the Administrative Coordinator for the Home Care Research Initiative, a program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation housed in the Center for Home Care Policy and Research. Ms. Stern is the Administrative Coordinator for the AdvantAge Initiative project, which helps communities’ build their capacity to meet the needs of older people who wish to age in place.

Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Stern worked for various non-profit organizations, including Food & Hunger Hotline and, most recently, the International Longevity Center, an affiliate of The Mount Sinai Medical Center. She also worked for several years as an elementary school science teacher.
