Aubrey Spriggs, M.A., Senior Research Analyst, joined the Center for Home Care Policy and Research in February 2000. At the Center, Ms. Spriggs has worked on five projects: one examining the effects of social support on physical and mental health outcomes of black elder home care patients; one investigating the individual and interactive effects of formal and informal health care on physical and mental health outcomes of elderly home care patients; one examining family and staff satisfaction with the Children's and Family Service Division of VNSNY; one evaluating process and outcomes of VNSNY's Early Head Start Program; and one evaluating palliative care processes at VNSNY.

Ms. Spriggs is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy and received her Master of Social Service Administration with a concentration in Family Support from the University of Chicago. Before joining VNSNY, Ms. Spriggs worked with Family Support America in Chicago. There she coordinated a research/publication project examining best practices in family support program start-up and development. She also has provided technical assistance to violence prevention programs, and social work/ psychological services to children, adolescents and families.
