Sylvia Ames, B.A.,
Manager of Data and Reporting, joined VNSNY in 2002 and transferred
from the Information Technologies Data Warehousing and Reporting group
to the Research Center in November 2006.
Ms. Ames' role includes project management for the Outcomes/Informatics
Department as well as collaboration with other departments throughout
the organization to coordinate data retrieval and analysis. Currently,
she is continuing work in progress to develop the Agency's data
dictionary and report documentation to ensure that report documentation
will be consistent across the agency. She will also have a role in the
Business Intelligence Initiative.
Prior to joining VNSNY, Ms. Ames was a Project Manager and Software
Architect for Home Box Office where she worked with various Consumer
Databases in support of Sales and Marketing Analysis and at the
Depository Trust Clearing Corporation in which she had a key role in
development of an Integrated Collateral Review and Management System
for Risk Surveillance.
Ms. Ames has a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College.
