Know the Signs of Falls Risk
Look for these signs to tell if your loved one may be at risk:
- They have falls-related injuries (bruises, scrapes, etc.).
- They hold onto furniture or walls for balance.
- They stumble or trip when walking.
- They walk at a noticeably slower pace than before.
- They lean forward, or to one side, when walking.
- They require assistance to walk around.
