Westchester County

At the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, we understand the issues people living in Westchester County face every day. We know that if you are ill or injured or elderly, it can be hard to travel from place to place by car or bus, or walk safely on neighborhood sidewalks, or even do the most basic and necessary errands. We know you live in the very real world of the New York metro area and that is why we offer a wide range of services. From pediatrics to senior care, short-term interventions to long-term management, our skilled nurses, clinical professionals and home health aides have the medical expertise and compassion you need to live your best life possible.

At VNSNY, we began serving patients in Westchester County in 2004, and we’ve already become a part of the fabric of Westchester:

  • We served almost 3,000 patients in Westchester County in 2007.
  • Our multi-lingual staff members are able to provide care to patients who don’t speak English comfortably—and that’s more than 10 percent of our patients in Westchester.

Westchester residents may take advantage our services, such as post-hospital care and our Telehealth and Telemonitoring services, which are in addition to home visits to reduce the likelihood or rehospitalization for certain high-risk patients.

VNSNY can help make the transition from hospital to home as easy as possible, with no gaps in your care or treatment. We also accept referrals from every hospital in Westchester County, and we have nurses on-site at some hospitals.
