At the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, we understand the issues people living in Westchester County face every day. We know that if you are ill or injured or elderly, it can be hard to travel from place to place by car or bus, or walk safely on neighborhood sidewalks, or even do the most basic and necessary errands. We offer a wide range of services in Westchester. From senior care to short-term interventions, our skilled nurses, clinical professionals and home health aides have the medical expertise and compassion you need to live your best life possible.

At VNSNY, we began serving patients in Westchester County in 2004, and we’ve already become a part of the fabric of Westchester:

  • We served over 4,000 patients in Westchester County in 2010.
  • Our multi-lingual staff members are able to provide care to patients who don’t speak English comfortably—and that’s more than 10 percent of our patients in Westchester.
  • Westchester residents may take advantage of our post-hospital care, which in addition to home visits, can reduce the likelihood of rehospitalization for certain high-risk patients.
  • VNSNY can help make the transition from hospital to home as easy as possible, with no gaps in your care or treatment. We also accept referrals from every hospital in Westchester County, and we have nurses on-site at some hospitals.
