At home, a person can enjoy being with loved ones in familiar surroundings, and share in the warmth and vitality of daily life. Our Care Teams provide compassionate, 24/7 support to patients and their families at home, allowing them to make the most of each day.


In Nursing Homes

VNSNY Hospice and Palliative Care is available in many long-term care facilities and nursing homes throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Our comprehensive program includes a plan of care developed in coordination with the nursing home staff, a consultation with the resident’s physician and nursing staff to ensure effective symptom and pain control and access to VNSNY Care Teams.

VNSNY Haven Hospice Specialty Care Unit

Located in a separate wing of Manhattan's Bellevue Hospital, the VNSNY Haven Hospice Specialty Care Unit provides short-term inpatient care for acute symptom management.

Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, the Shirley Goodman and Himan Brown Hospice Residence provides a full range of hospice and palliative care services in a safe, serene, home-like setting.
