VNSNY’s Pediatric Care for Children program provides home care for children up to the age of 18. Skilled nursing care is available for children after surgery, or with severe burns or broken bones, and may include physical or occupational therapy. Children with chronic conditions, from complications related to premature birth and congenital abnormalities, to AIDS, diabetes, cancer, seizure disorders, and respiratory disorders, such as asthma, may receive:
- Skilled nursing care
- Home health aides
- Parent advocate services
- Assistive technology and medical equipment
