Since 1983, the VNSNY Hospice Care program has provided skilled and compassionate care for people at the end of life and their loved ones. Our hospice services are available to patients living at home, in nursing homes, or in our eight-bed Manhattan residence.
When used properly, medicine can help control illness, relieve pain and fight infection. But medications can also cause serious problems if taken in the wrong dosage or combination. VNSNY can help you manage your medications and ensure that you take them in a safe and effective manner.
Sometimes experiencing a stroke, musculoskeletal injury, surgery, or another medical condition can make it difficult for you or a loved one to get around as you once did. Physical therapy can help to improve balance, strength, and coordination to make moving around easier and safer.
