The Visiting Nurse Service of New York offers a wide range of home health care services, including medical nursing services, management of chronic conditions, and care to meet the needs of every generation, from at-risk infants to those at the end of life. In addition, our multi-lingual staff helps us better serve New York's diverse population. Administering Medication
When used properly, medicine can help control illness, relieve pain and fight infection. But medications can also cause serious problems if taken in the wrong dosage or combination. VNSNY can help you manage your medications and ensure that you take them in a safe and effective manner.
Physical Therapy
Sometimes experiencing a stroke, musculoskeletal injury, surgery, or another medical condition can make it difficult for you or a loved one to get around as you once did. Physical therapy can help to improve balance, strength, and coordination to make moving around easier and safer.
End-of-Life Care
Since 1983, VNSNY has provided skilled and compassionate care for people at the end of life and their loved ones. Our end-of-life care is available to patients living at home, in nursing homes, or in our eight-bed Manhattan residence.
