What is our Asian Home Health Care Program?
Since our founding in 1893, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York has been providing home health care services to New York City's Asian community. We're proud of our long tradition of serving the Asian community. Our Asian Home Health Care Program customizes our comprehensive home health care and community-based services to the Asian population. We offer cultural sensitivity and respect to both the patient and his or her family members.
Large pool of Asian caregivers
Actually, we have the largest pool of Asian caregivers in the New York City area.
Our warm and caring home health care team includes:
Registered nurses
Rehabilitation therapists
Social workers
Home health aides
Volunteers
They speak Chinese dialects, Korean, Tagalog and other Asian languages. We can provide home health care teams that are trained in the cultures, values and customs of many different Asian groups.
We have the capabilities and experience to provide:
