Volunteer your time

Help us bring the caring home to over 100,000 New Yorkers each year. Become a Visiting Nurse Service of New York Volunteer.

At the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, volunteers are a vital part of our mission. Our volunteers are a diverse group of New Yorkers—men and women, from teens to senior citizens—who help provide the support we need to deliver home health care services to 25,000 patients every day.

In 2006, 1,050 volunteers from the New York Metro area donated their time and skills to VNSNY. Whether you’re an individual or a corporation, we want to welcome you to our ranks. VNSNY offers a wide variety of ways that you can lend a hand—with or without patient contact.
