The Visiting Nurse Service of New York is the largest not-for-profit home health care provider in the nation.
In 2006, we provided over $29 million in charitable care services, including direct care for nearly 6,000 uninsured or underinsured New Yorkers, flu shots for over 51,000 at-risk seniors, as well as support and counseling for hospice patients and their families.
We serve all five boroughs of New York City as well as Nassau and Westchester Counties.
