Occupational Therapist (OT)

Occupational therapists work with patients to help them regain the skills they need to function in their day-to-day activities. For instance, an occupational therapist might teach a stroke patient how to dress, or recommend a grab bar is installed in the bathtub of a person who is becoming somewhat unsteady while bathing.

Outcomes

Health care quality indicators that gauge the extent to which healthcare services succeed in improving or maintaining satisfaction and patient health are known as outcomes.
