Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP)
A nationally recognized model of nurse home visiting that improves health, development, and life outcomes for young mothers and their children over the long term. In 2006, VNSNY was one of three organizations selected to bring the program to New York City, and established nurse teams that now provide services to 400 families in the South Bronx. Building on our success, we are expanding the VNSNY NFP to serve an additional 200 families in the Bronx, as well as 200 families on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
