National Conference “Promoting Excellence in Geriatric
Home Care” July 9th, 2008
One hundred people representing leaders in home care
and experts in geriatrics and related fields attended the
first national conference devoted to promoting quality
improvement in geriatric home health care. The conference
was a working meeting at which participants discussed potential
strategies for quality improvement related to recommendations
developed by the project’s National Advisory Council.

“One of the top three professional
meeting experiences of my home care career.”

“I
will share the high energy and motivation
I experienced working with colleagues across the nation.”

“What a wonderful worthwhile
conference to be a part of! It will be unforgettable
for me; instilled hope for the future
and potential for integration and collaboration.”

The slides
from the plenary presentations can be downloaded here, or by clicking on "presentations"
