Physician Web Portal
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York offers you a convenient and secure way to manage your patients’ at-home care with our internet-based, electronic medical record system, Physician Web Portal.
Signing up is simple
- Open the interactive enrollment form: For Physicians (PDF) or for Staff (PDF)
- Enter your contact information and sign the agreement.
- Click “Submit.”
- Verify your email address with VNSNY.The Physician Web Portal is simple to use.
How it works
The VNSNY Physician Web Portal allows you to view all of your patient orders at one time, whether the patient is coming to home care from a hospitalization or a private practice, or both. With easy electronic approvals, you can avoid delays in start of care and ensure that your patients get the in-home services they need as quickly as possible. It's all in one place.
The VNSNY Physician Web Portal enhances coordination of patient home health care by allowing you to:
- View, manage and change your patient’s plan of care
- Approve, change, create and electronically sign treatment orders
- View your patient’s medication(s), orders, and treatment history
- View the names and contact information for all physicians and nurses who provide care for your patient
- Access all of your signed orders electronically, at any time and from any place
