As a VNSNY rehabilitation therapist, your exercise lab won’t be a clinic, but it might be the dining room of a cozy apartment or the cobblestone sidewalk of a retirement community. You may find yourself working with an athlete sidelined by a hip replacement, a senior recovering from multiple post-stroke disabilities, or a toddler who has developmental delays. You’ll make a critical difference by helping all of your patients maximize functionality and live as independently as possible — whether that requires a short-term intervention or long-term care management.
We’re looking for occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech language pathologists who are flexible but disciplined, and inventive yet practical, with a clinically sound and savvy approach to patients and patient care.
If you’re licensed to work in New York State and are interested in the opportunity and challenge of providing rehabilitation therapy to patients in their own home environments, we’d like to talk to you. In addition to direct care positions, opportunities for rehabilitation therapists are available in staff development, supervision, and management.
Full-time and part-time staff positions, as well as per-diem opportunities, are available in all five boroughs of New York City, Nassau County, and parts of Westchester County.
