Your information will be entered into the VNSNY database as a registered supplier of goods and services. Although your information will be made available to procurement personnel for potential bid opportunities, this does not guarantee your firm will be awarded business.
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
A business enterprise in which at least fifty-one percent (51%) is owned by citizens or permanent resident aliens meeting the ethnic definitions of:
Persons having origins from any of the Black African racial groups
Hispanic Persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, Central or South American descent of Either Indian or Hispanic origin, regardless of race.
Persons having origins from the Far East, Southeast Asia or the Pacific Islands
Persons having origins from the Indian subcontinent.
Persons having origins in any of the original peoples of North America
Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE)
