Theater Event Supports Volunteer Services
On Wednesday, March 12, 2008, theater lovers gathered for a cocktail reception at VNSNY
headquarters, followed by a performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific to benefit
our Volunteer Services program. Proceeds from the night totaled $25,000 and will help provide
items such as warm clothing, bedding, appliances and holiday gifts for patients. To learn more

Helping More Young Moms
After a successful first year, the VNSNY's Nurse-Family Partnership Program will now provide health counseling and education for an additional 300 first-time mothers in the Bronx. The increase was made possible by a $4.6 million grant from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Read more about the Nurse-Family Partnership here.
